It is a Groovebox-style application optimised for touch-based music creation. So you could have for example your traditional grey and maroon step buttons, but choose say a green light when the step is activated. A general Hue/saturation editor for themes would be nice. I kinda wish that one of the color options in the 'steps' section was the light color. Tested your FX suggestion before, and it didn't look right to me - even though I agree it makes sense.
